Miss food in Taiwan, but I enjoy life here!!!
Love making new friends, so I must overcome my shyness :P

Day
In the morning we had an interesting campus tour, but it was tiring. I love my mentor, Maggie, but I'm kind of shy, and just can't find topics as usual. (She's only in high school---so young!)
We had deilicious, FREE ice cream in the afternoon:) In the US ice cream is much sweeter, though. I still can't get used to it.
We also played lots of games these days. Games here are quite easy, such as "Are you Russian?"(the same as Da Fong Tsuei in Taiwan), and Bi Shou Hua Jiao. In Taiwan games are more complicated, just as those we played in the CGU Medicine Camp.

Night
We six guys planned our trip to Boston(during 8/3~8/5). Tickets to Liberty Statue were booked too.(7/27~29)
I had problems with this weekend's trip. But I'm so HAPPY to contact Season!!! Really want to meet her and Jacqueline in the US, but the transportaion fee is soooooo expensive. Besides, it takes time to get to NYC and Boston....QQ
To Boston one round trip ticket costs $50 (Peterpan bus), and there's only bus going bact to Storrs at 1:30PM on 7/29... That means i can't spend a lot of time hanging around.QQ
All in all, I WILL GO VISIT SEASON no matter how hard it may be!

7/17 tue.
Day
In the morning we played games again and made lots of new friends:) Bia(from Brazil) and Abdullah(from Saudi Arabia) are two most impressive friends. I have set up my goals then: Improve my eng(TALK A LOT) and make new friends(TALK A LOT TOO!). I want to be as talkative as David Chen !!!XD
In the afternoon we start our first class---"Reading discussion" tutored by Paula. She looks nice. We also voted for our textbook-- The Sign of the Beaver. Hope it'll be easy and interesting!

I really like the feeling in the whole English environment. It can make me think in English, rather than think in Chinese and translate it into English. But my listening and speaking is still poor, though:(. I often mutter and make mistakes. Well, just believe I can overcome it!!!
